Illustrations in four squares, showing different tasks and objects representing responses to Isolated challenges

Welcome to Isolated

Isolated is a not-for-profit online publication and community that was created to document people’s experience in 2020, living through the first year of a COVID world. You can go here to read what others have created.

In January 2021, we started working on a printed compilation of how we made it through 2020. If you’d like to help us make that, let us know.

Our goals:

    • To create community and reduce our sense of isolation in the first year of the COVID-19 outbreak
    • To provide creative distraction as a way to process and express how we are experiencing this moment
    • To make something meaningful out of the tragedy that surrounds us
    • To create a living record of how we got through the pandemic

Team: Andrew Losowsky, Tana Oshima, the Isolated Community.
